Hell hath no fury like a Jordan scorned. 

Before Michael Jordan returned from his second retirement to play for the Washington Wizards, he served as the Wizards’ president of the basketball operations, but of course he would still join his players in pickup runs from time to time.

Even as an executive, his legendary competitive drive was still very much intact.

According to Richard Hamilton, one of the players on those Wizards teams, MJ traded Laron Profit in 2001 after Profit tried to talk trash to MJ in practice.
