Former NBA Player Mike Bibby was accused back in February of sexually harassing a teacher at an Arizona school where he served as a basketball coach.

Now it looks like he’s off the hook.

Police were unable to gather enough evidence and have now dropped the case.

Sgt. Vince Lewis says the investigation “did not reveal probable cause to recommend charges against anyone in the case,” according to ESPN.

The teacher had accused Bibby of forcing her into his car and inappropriately touching her in February 2017. Bibby’s attorney, Don Harris, told the Arizona Republic that the claim against Bibby had been “like a bomb bursting in his head.” Harris said Bibby has received interest as a coaching candidate from “several universities.”

Bibby played at Shadow Mountain, winning a state championship. He also won a national title at Arizona before going on to a 14-year NBA career, primarily with the Vancouver Grizzlies, Sacramento Kings and Atlanta Hawks.

Does this mean Bibby will get his job back?

Probably not, but it will definitely open up the door for him to be hired somewhere else.
