During an appearance on “The Dan Patrick Show,” Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio suggests that Rams quarterback Jared Goff isn’t Sean McVay’s guy and he could move on from him.
Florio says he wouldn’t be surprised if Goff didn’t get a second contract with the Rams.
It’s somewhat of a surprising statement considering Goff is coming off of a pretty good season where he threw for 4,688 yards and 32 touchdowns and a Super Bowl appearance.
It makes sense. As good as Goff was last year in McVay’s system, there is probably a better fit. Goff will have to make a ton of progress to be worthy of a $30 million a year deal. Good luck Jared.
