Los Angeles Angels star center fielder Mike Trout closed on a 9,000-square-foot house in Newport Beach, California, last month for $9.15 million, according to listing records and confirmed by a source. 

The house listed last year for $9.498 million after being renovated by the previous owner, who had bought the property in 2016 for $4.225 million, according to listing records.

The lower level comprises a gameroom, a bar, a wine cellar and a full kitchen as well as a bedroom and two bathrooms, according to the listing. On the middle level is the master suite, complete with his-and-her closets. Outside there is a three-car garage and a pool, complete with a built-in area for dogs, according to the listing
