Trout has spent his first eight MLB seasons with the Angels. He is a seven-time All-Star, winning the American League MVP in 2014 and 2016. Trout has led the AL in OPS+ for each of the last four seasons.

He is a career .307 hitter with 240 homers.

Trout signed a six-year, $144 million extension with Los Angeles in March 2014. The Angels have reached the postseason just once with Trout.

Now that his free agency is in the near future, where will he land?

Well according to him, there’s one place he really enjoys playing.

Also factoring in to this latest rumor, Jerry Dipoto is the only general manager who has successfully negotiated a long-term contract with Mike Trout before.

Trout signed his six-year deal with the Angels in 2014 when Dipoto was GM.

Trout will be baseball’s biggest story over the next 20 months.

Should be very entertaining.
