Pensacola Blue Wahoos closer, Dusten Knight, closed out a 4-3 win over the Biloxi Shuckers earlier this week and celebrated it with a backflip.  The backflip is the 28-year-old Double-A closer’s go to move after he records a save.

Who says pitchers aren’t athletes?  Something tells me his impressive backflipping ability isn’t going to earn him a call up to the Twins anytime soon.

Bat flipping in the major leagues is one thing, backflips by a pitcher is just the kind of sideshow stunt that will keep you stuck in the minors forever.
