A key member of Mizzou football’s defensive line has been suspended after an arrest.

Tre Williams was booked into Boone County Jail at about 7 a.m. Sunday for second degree domestic assault.

The 21-year-old Williams allegedly got physically aggressive with his girlfriend while he was driving on South Providence near Nifong at about 1:45 a.m. Sunday.

Officers say they found physical evidence to back up her story.

Williams, a redshirt sophomore, has played in every game for the Tigers this season, starting half of them. He has 20 tackles, including 2.5 sacks.

This could be a career wrecker.

Eventually no NFL team will touch anyone with a domestic violence charge with a ten foot pole.
