It looks like Major League Baseball expected the man who signed the largest contract in the history of the game to be participating in their All-Star game. He is not.
Bryce Harper, the $330 million man is featured on several All-Star banners, despite not being selected to participate in the game.

A .253 batting average with 16 home runs and 62 RBIs isn’t going to cut it this year, especially with all of those strikeouts (105) which could end up being a career high by the end of the season.
Maybe Harper wasn’t really worth all that money after all.
