The San Francisco Giants are keeping themselves involved in the Bryce Harper Sweepstakes.  On Tuesday they reportedly met with the 26-year-old for the second time this month.

The Giants are said to be one of the teams that has an offer on the table, although the terms of the offer are unknown.

Via The Mercury News:

The San Francisco Giants stepped up their pursuit of free agent outfielder Bryce Harper with another meeting in Las Vegas Tuesday, according to multiple sources.

Giants CEO Larry Baer and president of baseball operations Farhan Zaidi were in Las Vegas, Harper’s hometown, to meet with the coveted free agent and agent Scott Boras for a second time in a matter of weeks.

Were the Giants in town to improve upon their original offer?  They are one of the teams, location-wise, that has the upper hand on the Phillies.

It sounds like Philadelphia is going to have to improve their offer if they want to land Harper.
