Dodgers outfielder Joc Pederson is having a very exciting. Being in the NLCS is fun enough, but on Sunday, he became a first time father.

The 26-year-old and his wife, Kelsey, welcomed Poppy Jett Pederson into the world:

Pederson was back with the Dodgers and in the lineup batting leadoff for Game 3 of the National League Championship Series against the Brewers on Monday at Dodger Stadium.

The 26-year-old came off the bench in Games 1 and 2, batting 2-for-3 with a pair of runs scored and a walk. Pederson slashed .239/.300/.534 with 18 home runs in 59 games batting leadoff during the regular season.
