While teams are scrambling to sign free agent Bryce Harper, his former team is holding a tryout for a bullpen cart driver. According to a reporter, who was covering the tryout, the drivers were being timed despite it not being a speed test.
Also worth noting is the Nationals had Teddy, one of their racing Presidents, on hand for the event.

Can you imagine being a reporter and being asked to go cover this event? How is the only takeaway from this not that the Nationals are an absolute joke?
I hope Washington makes the announcement about their new bullpen cart driver the same day Harper announces he’s signing a record-breaking deal with a new team.
