A terrible call in the 7th inning of Game 6 of the World Series eventually led to the ejection of Nationals manager Dave Martinez.

With Washington up 3-2 in the 7th and a runner on first base, Trea Turner tapped a ball towards the mound, Astros pitcher Brad Peacock fielded it and threw it to first.  The throw was off the mark and hit Turner.

The play should have been ruled an error, but the umpires called the Nationals shortstop out for interference and put the runner back on first base.

The potential game changing call didn’t end up costing them much as Anthony Rendon would later homer to put the Nats up 5-2.
