Nationals right-hander Max Scherzer was working on his bunting on Tuesday night before the game when he fouled a ball off of his face.  Reports are that the team’s ace suffered a broken nose.

Scherzer’s scheduled start on Wednesday is now up in the air.  

Why does Max Scherzer have a bat in his hands?  I know he has to bat in the National League, but he’s much more valuable on the mound.

Who cares if he can bunt?  If he gets hurt messing around with a bat in his hands and has to miss a start it’s not worth it.
