Thursday’s Opening Day game against the Mets marked the launch of a new era for the Nationals, an era without their most popular player. From 2012 through ’18, Harper was the face of the franchise and a cornerstone player, and now he’s gone.
So what to do about those jerseys?
It looks like Nat fans were not burning them, or shredding them into pieces.
Instead they opted to get creative.
