Toronto’s Nazem Kadri has been suspended by the NHL for the rest of the Maple Leafs first round playoff series against the Bruins.  The center earned the suspension for his dirty cross-check on Jake DeBrusk.

The seven game series is currently tied at a game apiece.

Apparently exchanging dirty hits isn’t a part of playoff hockey anymore.  The NHL has gone soft.  It’s really sad to see.  Maybe they will start ejecting players for pushing like the NBA does.
