The 76ers took on the Pistons in Detroit on Friday night.  Things got a little heated between stars Blake Griffin and Jimmy Butler.

It started in the fourth quarter after Griffin was called for a charge on Butler.  The two exchanged words as they walked down to the other end of the floor and had to be separated.

Griffin followed up the initial back-and-forth by fouling Butler with a shot to the midsection.  He then was called for a technical foul for adding an elbow to Butler’s face after the play.

This could have easily ended with the two throwing hands.  Instead it ended with another Sixers win, 117-111.
