Almost everyone celebrated the Supreme Court’s ruling that paved the way for legalized gambling in the United States.  One guy not celebrating is Metta World Peace aka Ron Artest, he thinks this opens the door for game fixing.

While promoting his book, “No Malice: My Life in Basketball or: How a Kid from Queensbridge Survived the Streets, the Brawls, and Himself to Become an NBA Champion” Metta claims he was offered $35k to fix games in college.

The only thing I want to know is how much he was getting paid to play at St. John’s.  Because he was definitely getting paid and if it was less than $35k then he absolutely threw a game for the money.

So until he reveals what St. John’s paid him, we’re going to assume he fixed a few games.
