At the end of the second quarter of the Nets and Timberwolves game on Monday night, Brooklyn’s Caris Levert suffered a nasty right ankle injury.  The injury came as he landed after attempting to block a shot on defense.

Levert’s ankle rolled as he landed and stayed that way.  He had to be stretchered off of the floor after suffering the hard to watch injury.

The injury had players for both teams shaken up.  They did eventually continue play with the Timberwolves taking home a 120-113 win.

There’s rolling your ankle then there’s this.  It’s hard to tell if Levert’s bone went through the skin or not.  Either way the 24-year-old likely has a long road of recovery ahead of him.
