New Jersey Devils forward Miles Wood took out two Tampa Bay Lightning players on one play. He first smashed Vladislav Namestnikov into the boards with a brutal hit from behind.
Tampa Bay’s Andrej Sustr decided to “punish” Wood for the hit and paid for ut by having his face split open by his visor after Wood smashed it.
Sustr would require stitches and return to the game, because that’s what hockey players do. He also learned a valuable lesson about trying to throw hands with Wood.
