The NFL released a new statement on Patriots owner Robert Kraft on Monday morning, three days after the 77-year-old billionaire was named as one of several individuals facing charges for soliciting prostitution.

“Our Personal Conduct Policy applies equally to everyone in the NFL,” the statement read.

“We will handle this allegation in the same way we would handle any issue under the Policy. We are seeking a full understanding of the facts, while ensuring that we do not interfere with an ongoing law enforcement investigation. We will take appropriate action as warranted based on the facts.”

Kraft also issued the following statement Friday:

“We categorically deny that Mr. Kraft engaged in any illegal activity. Because it is a judicial matter, we will not be commenting further.”

Sounds like the NFL is covering their bases.

Expect Kraft to be punished.

Jim Irsay got a six game suspension and fined 500K for driving while intoxicated.

I expect something similar for Kraft.
