Panthers owner David Tepper managed to hire a new head coach and piss off his fellow NFL team owners in the process. 

According to an NFC South coach, the 7-year, $60 million deal that Tepper handed Baylor’s Matt Rhule isn’t sitting well with other NFL owners.

The deal makes Rhule, a first time NFL coach, the sixth highest paid in the league which will have an impact on the coaching market.

The owners are expected to respond to the hiring during the next league meeting.
