Philadelphia Eagles executive Howie Roseman announced on Wednesday at the Scouting Combine that the team will not franchise tag backup quarterback Nick Foles.  The 30-year-old will be a free agent without all of the jumping through hoops that would have been required to tag and trade him.

I guess that settles that.  The Eagles are all in on their fragile franchise quarterback, who got his ring thanks to Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles.  Nothing to see here.  No quarterback controversy in Philadelphia.

There will be plenty of action for Foles when he officially hits the market.  He will definitely find himself a starting job next season.
