Patriots running back James White was mic’d up for last Sunday’s 24-10 win over the Vikings.  NFL Films shared the audio from the game and it revealed that Tom Brady is even better than we already knew.

There are plenty of quarterbacks that can make pre-snap audibles.  There aren’t many that can make the mid-play audible.  In fact, Tom Brady might be the only one that can.

In the video (at around the 1:19 mark) Brady is heard telling White to run his checkdown route as he fakes handing him the ball.

As if there was another reason to be in awe of Brady’s abilities, the mid-play audible is just too impressive to ignore.  He’s just taken every aspect of the game (including air in footballs) to the next level.
