The NFL has placed referee Roy Ellison on administrative leave while they investigate a heated exchange he had with Bills defensive end Jerry Hughes.
This isn't Ellison's first issue with a player. Back in 2013 he was suspended after an incident with Trent Williams.
Video of Hughes yelling at an official surfaced shortly after Sunday's game. In it the defensive end accused an official of calling him a "b*tch."
Where there's smoke, there's usually fire. This official apparently has a history with players.
I still think Hughes overreacted, but officials probably shouldn't be running around calling players b*tches either.
