After taking over Canada first like he did as a member of the Edmonton Oilers, Grant Fuhr finally brought his award-winning documentary MAKING COCO to the United States this past weekend for a special one of a kind “drive-in golf cart” movie premiere at Desert Dunes Golf Club in Desert Hot Springs, California.
The sold out premiere that follows Fuhr’s life on and off the ice, featured hundreds of golf carts lined up in front of a giant screen under the stars with VIP guests such as Jim McMahon, Jax Taylor, Cathy King, Bruce Saville, Peta Hepple, Shane Griffin, Krystle Lina, Don Metz, Chloe Teperman and Shane Fennessy.
The premiere was sponsored by Mobile Drive-in Theater, Medya, ZTPR, Rogers Documentary Fund and Desert Dunes.
It will be launched across US video platforms later this year.
