Six children walked out wearing Kobe’s Los Angeles Lakers basketball jerseys, both number 8, which he wore from 1996 through 2006, and number 24, which he wore at the beginning of the 2006 season until he retired in 2016.

The kids donned an array of purple, gold, and black jerseys, highlighting Kobe’s legacy after he tragically died last month.
