Antonio Brown’s future with the Oakland Raiders has become even murkier after the wide receiver called on the organization to release him following reports that he was fined more than $215,000, voiding his contract’s guaranteed payout.

The embattled football player, who has been at odds with general manager Mike Mayock over a foot injury early on in his contract, posted a cryptic message on Instagram Saturday where he called on the Raiders to “release me.”

So why is he asking for a release, just like he did with the Steelers?
