The Packers made it to the NFC Championship Game this year, but were beaten soundly by the 49ers. 

Aaron Rodgers didn’t play particularly well in the loss and despite still being considered an “elite” quarterback, he’s far from the Aaron Rodgers of old.

This appears to have the Packers looking towards the future at the quarterback position.  In comments on Friday, general manager Brian Gutekunst said as much.

The Packers GM admitted that he wouldn’t pass up a good quarterback prospect in this year’s draft.
