The Packers walked away with a 23-22 win on Monday night after the referees robbed the Lions with terrible hands to the face penalties. After the game Green Bay tackle David Bakhtiari admitted he asked the referee about hands to the face calls prior to the first penalty being called.

So if it looks like Bakhtiari is playing up the calls, and it does, that’s because he was trying to sell the call to the referee. It worked and it shouldn’t have because there was no hands to the face on either play.
