Reports came out on Friday morning that Cam Newton’s foot injury wasn’t getting any better and that he wasn’t close to returning.  Panthers general manager Marty Hurney confirmed those reports.

Newton traveled to Green Bay on Friday to visit with foot specialist and former Panthers assistant team physician Dr. Robert Anderson.

The Panthers quarterback has done everything he can from a rehab standpoint and is visiting the doctor to figure out the next steps.
