The Carolina Panthers have overhauled their roster and will continue to do so prior to the start of the season. One of the guys they want to keep around is star running back Christian McCaffrey.
According to general manager Marty Hurney, the team has had “internal discussions” about signing McCaffrey to an extension. He will be an unrestricted free agent in 2022.
