Christian McCaffrey cashed in big time this week when the Carolina Panthers made him the highest paid running back in NFL history.  He is coming off of an incredible season where he tallied over 1,000 yards on the ground and through the air with 19 touchdowns.

The 23-year-old, who led the NFL in touches last season, is expected to see a reduced workload next season.

New head coach Matt Rhule indicated that McCaffrey will continue to be a featured part of the Panthers offense, but he also indicated that he plans on resting his talented workhorse more next season.
