Colin Kaepernick to the Jets was trending on Twitter after a sports parody account tweeted out what looked like an official SportsCenter announcement that the former 49ers quarterback had signed a one-year deal with the New York Jets.

The unverified account with the handle @SuperToughScene managed to rack up over five thousand retweets and sixteen thousand likes.

It takes about two seconds to see this is completely fake, but even in quarantine people don’t have the time to check before they retweet.  It’s an amazing social experiment.
