Dallas Mavericks point guard Dennis Smith Jr. lost a tooth on Sunday after eating an elbow from Clippers guard Patrick Beverley. The two went to the floor as they battled for a loose ball when Beverley’s elbow caught Smith in the face and his tooth ended up on the floor.

There’s hustle and then there’s doing too much. This can be filed under the doing too much category for Beverley.
Beverley was doing too much all night and it ended up getting him ejected. Later in the game he threw a ball at Mavericks superfan Don Knobler.

Smith will have to hit up a dentist on Monday, but if it’s any consolation his tooth was knocked out in a victory.
