The Patriots have had several injuries hit their receivers this season. The latest is an ankle injury to the newly acquired Mohamed Sanu.
The lack of weapons in the passing game has been an issue despite the Patriots 9-1 record. These issues have reportedly led New England to consider re-signing Antonio Brown.
Brown spent just 11 days with the Patriots earlier this season. He was released after sending threatening messages to a sexual assault accuser and took parting shots at Patriots owner Robert Kraft.
Earlier this week Brown apologized for those shots, a move that Tom Brady approved of.
