Quarterback Paxton Lynch, who was cut by the Broncos last week had a Workout with the Lions.  The 2016 first round pick is trying to keep his NFL career going.

Via Pro Football Talk:

Lynch tried out for the Lions, according to Field Yates of ESPN.

Once viewed as the Broncos’ franchise quarterback of the future, Lynch flamed out after the Broncos drafted him in the first round in 2016. In two seasons he started just four games and had a 76.7 passer rating. The Broncos cut him last week.

The workout was his second since being cut.  Lynch had a workout with the Bills as well.

Neither team would provide him the the opportunity to start and it’s unclear if he would be brought in as a backup.  Both the Lions and Bills seem to be set at QB1 and QB2.

This just seems to reinforce Colin Kaepernick’s collusion case.
