Quarterback Payton Lynch is back in the NFL thanks to the Seattle Seahawks, who signed the former first-round draft pick, to complete for a backup job behind Russell Wilson.  He was released back in September by the Denver Broncos after starting just five games over two seasons for them.

Lynch, whom the Denver Broncos released on Sept. 2, 2018, signed a deal with the Seattle Seahawks, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported.

Sports Radio KJR in Seattle first reported the signing.

Not exactly how Lynch thought his career was going to play out after he was drafted in the first-round.  But here he is with another shot to prove he should have never been drafter in the first round.
