Mickelson took to golf at an extremely young age, hitting his first golf balls at just age 18 months. He learned the basics of the sport by mirroring his father’s swing, which led the naturally right-handed Phil to adopt the left-handed stroke that would later lead to his nickname, “Lefty.”

Wow, he’s pretty flexible, both hands at his disposal. Watch Mickelson throw a football below, Phil has some serious zip on that toss.

Phil has won 43 events on the PGA Tour, including five major championships: three Masters titles (2004, 2006, 2010), a PGA Championship (2005), and an Open Championship (2013).  And he can throw the sh*t out of a football, with his right arm. That’s an athlete!
