The Cubs’ postseason hopes came to an end during Wednesday night’s game against the Pirates when the Brewers won their game and clinched a postseason spot.
The scoreboard operator decided to mark the occasion by trolling the Cubs. Under the Brewers score they displayed in all caps, “CUBS ELIMINATED FROM POSTSEASON CONTENTION.”
