White Sox pitcher Danny Farquhar threw out the first pitch on Friday night just six weeks after suffering a brain aneurysm. He spoke with Good Morning America before the big night.
The right hander took the mound with his wife, three kids, teammates and medical team behind him. His first pitch crossed the plate for a strike.
The doctors have cleared Farquhar to return to regular throwing again on Saturday. He won’t know his future in baseball until he attempts to throw with maximum effort. Saturday is a big day for him.
