Unlike recent seasons, the Los Angeles Rams don’t need to worry about retaining Sean McVay.

After contemplating his future following the Rams’ Super Bowl win in the 2021 season and again last year after his first losing campaign, the head coach suggested Tuesday that he’ll return next season.

“That I can promise you,” McVay said on the “Coach McVay Show” when asked if the series will return next campaign.

McVay is under contract through 2026. He’s also just seven regular-season wins away from breaking John Robinson’s franchise record of 75 victories.

The 37-year-old is in the running for Coach of the Year after getting the Rams back to the playoffs in what most expected to be a rebuilding year for the NFC West club. Los Angeles clinched a wild-card spot in Week 17.
