Texas Rangers pitcher James Jones suffered an injury to his right knee during the coronavirus quarantine.  The 31-year-old lefthander suffered the injury when he tripped on one of his son’s toys.

Jones tore his right patellar tendon and underwent surgery on Wednesday.  Unfortunately he’s expected to miss the entire season, whenever it resumes.

The former outfielder transitioning full-time to pitching back in 2016.  Jones spent the entire season in the Minor Leagues in 2019.
