Rays prospect Garrett Whitley was taken to the hospital on Monday after taking a foul ball to the face. He was sitting in the dugout at the time and left with a towel over his nose and mouth.
Whitley didn’t appear to be paying any attention at the time. He was sitting behind the righthanded hitter and it took an almost impossible foul ball to make its way into the dugout.
