Redskins Reportedly Cut Starting Linebacker Mason Foster

According to reports, the Washington Redskins are releasing starting linebacker Mason Foster.  The veteran started in all 16 games last season and recorded 131 tackles.

Foster added a sack, a couple of interceptions and fumble recoveries to his impressive tackles total.  For that reason the news is a little surprising.

On the flip side, Foster should have very little trouble finding a new home, unless of course he was released due to some sort of unreported off the field problem.
