Brewers outfielder Christian Yelich is picking up right where he left off last season when he took home the National League MVP.  The 27-year-old has started the 2019 season off with a home run in four straight games.

The four straight games with a home run ties a Major League record for most consecutive games with a home run to start a season.

Willie Mays, Mark McGwire, Nelson Cruz, Chris Davis and Trevor Story are the other five players to start a season with a homer in four straight games.

Pitchers are going to have their hands full this year with Yelich.  He’s on pace for 162 home runs, which is always fun to point out early in the season.
