According to former NFL executive Michael Lombardi, and a few other insiders, the Cleveland Browns might be on the hit NFL show this summer on HBO.

“Someone just told me the Browns might be on Hard Knocks next year—Wow, good TV if true.”

There are rules that the NFL put in place that allow certain teams to avoid being featured on the show. The first excludes teams with a first year head coach. Some teams want nothing to do with it, while others have no choice. The rules excluding teams below: 

 1) They have a first-year head coach in place
2) They have a playoff berth in the past two seasons
3) They have appeared on Hard Knocks in the past 10 years

Looks like there’s not many options. Being the worst team year in and year out should be compelling television. I just wish Johnny Football was still on the team. We may just get Manziel 2.0 being featured, which could be just as interesting.
