Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers provided the New York Jets with a wish list of free agents he’d like them to target and acquire, sources told ESPN’s Dianna Russini.

The reported list includes wide receivers Odell Beckham Jr. and Randall Cobb and veteran tight end Marcedes Lewis. It also featured wideout Allen Lazard, whom New York agreed to terms with on a four-year, $44-million contract Tuesday, sources told Jordan Schultz, theScore’s NFL insider.

The Jets reportedly met with Rodgers last Tuesday to discuss a trade. The Packers are open to the idea of moving the four-time NFL MVP, who’s under contract with them until 2025. He has yet to announce if he intends to play in 2023 after leaving his future open-ended following the 2022 regular season.

Rodgers has been teammates with Cobb, Lazard, and Lewis for several years. Cobb spent the first eight seasons of his career in Green Bay before leaving the team in 2019 for one-year stints with the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Texans. He returned for a second stint with Rodgers and Co. in 2021 and 2022.

Lazard and Lewis both played for Green Bay from 2018-22. The former led the club in targets (100), receptions (60), and receiving yards (788) last year.

Beckham hasn’t played since suffering a torn ACL in Super Bowl LVI in February 2021 as a member of the Los Angeles Rams. He visited multiple teams in December but didn’t sign with them. The 30-year-old recently hosted a private workout for NFL teams and has since reportedly had conversations with multiple clubs.

Garrett Wilson, the 10th overall pick in the 2022 draft, led the Jets with 83 catches, 1,103 yards, and four touchdown receptions last year. New York’s wide receiver depth chart also features veteran Corey Davis and 2021 second-round pick Elijah Moore.
