Richard Jefferson wants to play one more season in the NBA. The 39-year-old last played for the Nuggets in 2017-18 and currently works as an analyst for the Nets.
Jefferson made his announcement on Twitter late Tuesday night and added Adrian Wojnarowski to the tweet to make it official.
I’d like to formally announce after a ton of speculation I’m coming out of retirement. I’d like to play basketball one more year @wojespn

Jefferson must know there are some teams interested in his services, although we can’t imagine what NBA team would need a 39-year-old Richard Jefferson.
Maybe his old pal LeBron came calling to help the Lakers fill out a full roster with guys who are able to play with him.
