Former Jets receiver Robby Anderson signed a two-year, $20 million deal with the Panthers earlier this week.  According to WFAN’s Boomer Esiason, that wasn’t his best offer.

Esiason claims Anderson turned down a four-year, $40 million contract to return to the Jets.  It’s a claim Anderson denied in a now deleted tweet where he called it “false news.”

Despite Anderson’s denial, Boomer isn’t backing down.  He says he has a great source and that he stands by his claim.
