Patriots owner Robert Kraft’s defense team was in a Florida courtroom on Friday morning to keep videos of sex acts being performed on him at a spa from being released to the public.  Several media outlets have been pushing for the release of the tape.

Kraft’s defense team called the tapes pornography and is arguing they were made illegally since there was no evidence found of human trafficking.

Via MassLive:

Lawyers for New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft appeared in a Palm Beach County court Friday morning seeking to keep video evidence against Kraft in a prostitution case out of the public view.

“It’s basically pornography,” William Burck, a member of Kraft’s defense team, said in court Friday. Burck said his client would face “catastrophic” harm and that “the public’s interest in seeing this video is all about prurient interest.”

It looks like, for now anyway, another win for Kraft.  That doesn’t mean the tape won’t eventually come out.

All it takes is someone with access to it and a need for a few extra bucks and we’re all watching an old dude have sex acts performed on him.
